Recently, a novel class of materials with band crossings in the form of surfaces have been predicted based on symmetry arguments and band theory. I have shown that Coulomb correlations inevitably lead to particle-hole instabilities; moreover, doping or disorder can drive the system to quantum criticality where the fluctuations favor unconventional s+- superconductivity.
